    This is a very lovely photo. Did you do anything with the saturation? Contrast?

    @michael,

    I layed a "gaussian blur overlay" over the picture, except the two persons. This is connected with an increase of saturation.

    And I lightened the person in the background, but not perfectly, which one can unfortunately see.

    To increase contrast I frequently use "local contrast enhancement", an usm with - for example - 20, 50, 0.
