Aha! - Google Banned in Turkey

It's official. Turkey has banned many Google IP addresses so Picasa has stopped working, along with other Google services, including Google Earth.

Meanwhile, the Turkish President, Abdullah Gül, has used Twitter to say that he did not approve of the bans and had instructed officials to examine legal ways of reopening access. We'll see.
