Carl schreibt zu seinem Bild:
"I wanted to make some photographs at a protest that takes place weekly on the Village Green in Litchfield, CT, but the storms that were threatening opened up as I drove, and nobody was braving it by the time I arrived. So I drove to a shrine where I've photographed before, but everyone was hurrying out under umbrellas. Even with a supposedly splash-proof camera to work with, there didn't seem to be much to do out in the rain. But looking out at the rain was interesting, and it occurred to me that this might be either something out the window, or something taking the weather with me, or maybe both, for The Public Eye."
